Being kind to our environment has always been a part of our DNA. In addition to all of the behind-the-scenes eco-friendly practices, we want to give our guests a green experience to remember by:

  • Providing guest access to bikes.
  • Serving coffee from La Colombe, an ethically responsible coffee roaster.
  • Partnering with local food purveyors and vendors to source quality products sustained by mindful farming practices for our restaurants and reduce carbon emissions from long haul travel.

Clean The World

Our partnership with Clean The World recycles unused portions of bar soaps to provide hygiene kits worldwide for impoverished communities and communities recovering from natural disasters.

All of our light fixtures — in guestrooms, corridors, and public spaces — use energy-efficient LED bulbs.

Smart Air

Guestroom HVAC units filter fresh outdoor air to create a comfy atmosphere. Units are motion-activated, limiting unnecessary energy expenditure.

Better by Volume

We use refillable shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hand soap, and shower gel amenities by Atelier Bloem, eliminating all those tiny plastic bottles.

Here's the lowdown on our low-flow commodes: They're built to conserve water with every flush, plus low-flow faucets and shower heads in every room conserve even more water.

Recycling

The life of a hotel involves everything from paper, plastics, and pallets to cardboard and crates — all of which we recycle. We've eliminated nearly all single-use plastic water bottles to transition to aluminum, reusable bottles and have filtered water stations around the property.
