A Hotel Near Grant Park in Chicago

An urban oasis at Grant Park

In the world of parkland, Grant Park is stacked — far more than a swath of grass and a bench or two, many of Chicago’s most famed attractions call this spot home. For well over 100 years, Grant Park has beckoned locals and visitors alike to enjoy nature in the middle of the city. In addition to a killer view of the skyline, here’s what you can find in the park today:

  • Art Institute of Chicago, with more than 250,000 pieces
  • Millennium Park, home to the Cloud Gate sculpture (also known as “The Bean”), outdoor concert venue Jay Pritzker Pavilion, and Lurie Garden
  • Buckingham Fountain, which shoots water 150 feet into the air
